Thread: weiss lake

could someone give me some information regarding the water temp. in yellow creek (weiss) and a report on the crappie. I am debating whether to come down fishing next week or the next. Any information would be appreciated. I would really like to pick the best week I can. Thanks!

Fished Yellow Creek on Friday afternoon 2/29. Fished about 3 hours. Long line trolling in 18-24' water. Caught about 20, kept 16. All good fish, though. Water temp never got above 47.5 degrees. Most fish were caught when it started raining. Good luck.

i was there from fri to sun and the temp was 47.7. Caught 37 keepers on Sat and threw back 10 or 15. trolling slow. (.4 to .6) most of these fish were caught at church house. All in all rough couple of days.
