    Default Weiss Lake Tailwater?

New guy here....I'll be at the lake next week, and or course I'm there huntin slabs, but there seems to be plenty of other tasty fishy's down there. Do crappie and white/striped/hybrids congregate below the dam at the lake? Or is access even possible? I've found out they go up the Coosa, but didn't know how fishable this area might be, or if it's worth any time.

If you are talking about by boat, Yes there is a ramp about 3 miles below the dam, If you go up by boat stay on the left of the river going up, There is a few places up there that can get shallow fast,
A friend of mine went up there a couple of weeks ago,Said he didn't do to good,Buttake that with a grain of salt.
