    Default Courtland/Decatur AL Ramp's

Meeting a guy this weekend to let him look at my boat. And try it out on the water.
Need some info on boat ramps that are near there. Or along HWy 72. Anywere from Courtland to Decatur would rather they be west of Decatur. But will take what I can.
Is the ramp there at the Marina on 72 right east of Decatur is that ramp public?

    Default engels

The new boat landing in Decatur at Engel's Ship yard is the best in north Alabama and it's free. Another ramp is on spring creek and another is on Fox Mallard Creek and both are near Courtland.

    Thumbs up

ShilohRed just stay on 72/20 into Decatur. Go past the intersection of 67/20 (Beltline Road) Go over 2 or 3 sets of railroad tracks just past that you will see a Chevron gas station on your left and turn left just past it. There is an elementary school across the street from the boat ramp parking lot. You can't miss the parking lot. If you go to the Holiday Inn you have gone too far. Good luck.

Pete: On 72 at Courtland,Turn left like you are going to that large paper mill, they use to be a boat ramp down that road,I remember when I was doing a job at the mill seeing a sign down there.
Hope it turns out for you. Mark,,,,

Turn left on CR 150 in Courtland. Take next right and then left on Spring Creek Rd.3.3 miles to Free launch. If crowded another 2.2 miles to small free launch with good water. Good Luck.

Thanks but found out the Guy is coming all the way to the house Sunday. So I do not have to make the trip.
But I sure thank you for the help. Sounds like I will be without a boat for a few weeks. Old one may be going to Ga Sunday. And I am waiting on the New Lund to be built.
