    Default Elk River,Spring Creek

Any reports of crappie action from the Elk River,Anderson Creek area above the bridge on hihgway 72? And what the Spring Creek bite across from the mouth of the Elk River?

There are no more crappie in Elk River or Anderson Creek. :D:D:D

Seriously though, I think they are just starting to go into the mouth of Anderson Creek, from reports I've heard. Fall and winter fishing was slow this year.

    Default Spring Creek

I haven't caught any in Spring Creek this year so far, but I have had some good days on the rip rap on the left of the entrance to the creek. Some times they are 10 feet, sometimes they are as far out as 20. They should start moving in shallow around the rip rap in the next week or so.
