    Smile Wheeler Lake Crappie

Anybody catching any crappie around Spring, Mallard, Fox, or Flint Creeks? My freezer is bone dry. Thinking about trying Mallard Creek tomorrow.

Mouth of Spring Creek on the rip rap before you go in the entrance on the right.

All of the back waters east of i65 are great. Fish the stumps and lilly pad stalks for the slabs. Live minnows and jigs both work well.

Fox Creek was producing last week, not sure about now. Flint was also pretty hot up in the shallows. This is just what I have heard, I have not been the one catching them.

    Default Fox's Creek

It always seems Fox's Creek starts earlier than Mallard and Spring.
