I fish eufaula a couple of times a month. For me its been slow. I haven't learned the lake or finding crappie for that mater. It is full pool now and thats a good thing. It has been bad low. I talk to a lot of fishermen and it appears crappie have been slow this winter. Bass brim and catfish are fairly strong though. I'm told that crappie will pick up in a month and be a hot spot, I can't wait.

So far I fish the lower to mid lake at and in the creeks. Only fished the north end once and did no better than mid and lower. Creeks have been muddy.

Yes it is stained but getting better.
I do a lot of work in Southwest Georgia so I have to keep the channels open.
An old farmer ask me once if I knew how to do takeaway math. To that I ask what he meant. Well, he said That is GA hwy 62, if you do 55 mph that way until you take away 10, you'll know you back in Alabama. AL hwy 52 is GA hwy 62. In other words, take yo az back to Alabama, Boy.

    Default Eufaula

Man, I been waiting for someone to tell me the wateris up on Eufaula. Thats my favorite lake. But of course I haven't fished it in so many years that I don't know how to fish it anymore. I' got a buddy that can catch big slab crappie with nothing but a gold hook. We will probably be at Slabfest the 1st!\
