Fo sho. The only regret I have about Pfleuger Presidents is that I didn't buy more of them when BPS had them for $25 or whatever it was last year. I have at least one Pfleuger reel that's 15 years old and I honestly can't tell it from a brand new one when I'm fishing with it. I don't know if you can wear one out.

ACC Crappie Stix is supposed to have a good dock shooter I personally haven't tried one I do have 2 of his 10 footers and really like them so far.
