    Default Change in pace

With all the rain and water being muddy I decided to try to catch some big stripe. We got into a few catching 11 stripe total and 6 spots. Caught 1 real good one and a couple around the 10lb mark. The stripe ain't good for much but they sure will stretch a line out.

Congrats, I don't keep many because i like to catch them but they are very good on the grill or pan seared. A little old bay and lemon pepper put it over some wild rice or cheese grits. Just cut out the red line first.

I've ate them before, they are pretty good but I like to catch them so i throw'em back. Crappie bream and spotted bass are my favorite fish to eat. This is the biggest fish off the night. I was half asleep when I made the post this morning.

I agree! Pan seared with your favorite Cajun seasoning is very good. Yes cut out the red...

Great fish! Wish I could find these. Happened into some on Wilson below Wheeler a few years back. Got lucky and haven’t found anything like that day since then. Any hints/tips on how to land a few? I love to eat them as well. So good.
