Nice mess for sure!
I spent a few hours at Swan Creek WMA after work Friday, only 5 Crappie and all were short, but I kept half a limit of Gills and Shellcrackers.
I wanted to chase Crappie in Limestone Saturday spider rigging, but the weatherman had the wind too high so I retuned for the sure thing on the gills at Swan Creek I found Friday. Kept a limit and caught and returned fish all day. I used a 1/32oz slider jig for a search bait. when I found a few in a hard bottom area I'd toss a Keystone Minnow about 12" under a tiny bobber to clean up several more.
Nice mess for sure!
Great job DB!

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
Man that makes my mouth water. I love catching and eating gills.
Looks like a real fun time DB, congrats. Those will eat well.
Cooked some last night for dinner, can't beat the taste of fresh Gills, rolled in corn meal and baptized in grease!!

Great catch . Did you fish down by the equipment shed or at the spring ? can not wait to get the fly rod out. Have you fished off sandy rd this year ? Thanks
Great job Ditch!
I did best over by the spring and around the corner in the main area. I can push over the beaver dams right now.
