It was slow before the freeze, with mostly small fish. Then the rains came, and I haven't been. Its been an odd year for me, not that most are spectacular.

I've been making 2 trips down yearly for the last 4 or 5 years. I've fished coves, creeks and river channel laydowns from Lost Creek to Howton's Camp. I've always found a few crappie but never big numbers; hopefully this March will be good!
