Default Cotaco Creek, 14 Oct 17

Fished three-ish hours this morning. Not much to show. Five total. Two that would measure. All released. Water temp was 76 degrees. No noticeable current. And, the water remains fairly stained. Plan to try mid -week once it cools a bit.

As usual, launched at Triana. Tried a few minutes in Indian Creek before heading to Cotaco. Not a thing.

Few fish today, but any day on the water is a great day.

Slabby: They have some big water work project ongoing in the Triana launch parking lot. The barges are there for the project. Not sure what they are really doing. Wish they would hurry up and finish so they can pave the access road.

Don't feel bad I really struggled today only 17 keepers. That's a bad day for me. Glad you got to go.

Thanks for the report Spaceman. It'll get better after that water temp drops below 70, hopefully this week will help a bunch.

Glad you got to get out for a bit! Found quiet a few fish today but they had lock jaw only managed 7 keepers and 2 -3 just shy of 10” and lost 1 good ern just before the flip to da boat and it was a very very lite bite for the most .

Something changed the last 7 days or so. I was catching them good and now it's been tuff on my home lake . I did good with cowboy on Neely Henry but I've never had this much trouble this time of year.
