    Default Back to McIntosh

Yesterday and the launch was just as crowded as it was Saturday. The bite was slow, water was still pretty stained, tide was neaping, and the river had begun a small rise. Did manage a decent mess, and caught many short fish I was pushing jigs in 10 to 12 FOW catching fish around 4 to 6 FD. Blue black chartreuse caught best Name: IMG_1256.jpg

I went this morning and caught 2. I mean 4 if I count the 2 that was about the size of your second pic. No one was catching anything that I talked to, even the bream fishermen was complaining.

I think the rising water has most likely effected the bite but it's not gonna rise much if we don't get any more heavy rain and is predicted to level out by the weekend. It seems I never have caught good on a rise in the river.

Way to go Tony ! I don't know if you fish for them but year with high water are good for triple tails in the bay

Your right Lowe175 but my salt water days are long over. I do have a nephew that chases them with a passion. He chases my brothers shrimp boat around the bay for his bait, large live shrimp
