    Question Bear/ Cedar Creek

    Hey guys anyone Fishing Bear / cedar creeks ? doing any good ? thinking about taking the boat up there , this week, water up , down , with no rain just don't know,

    I don't fish those two much, but Upper Bear is low. Good news the fish have been bitting good :D
    I'm going to hit them some Friday early.

    The water at bear is about 4 to 5 foot below normal pool. Went up there Sunday tried the crappie but no luck. Was told by the owner of the store/bait shop that people had been tearing them up the last few days though.

    Well I need some tips on what there hitting, how deep ect. because I didn't get that fish smell on me Sunday........ Any info on what I need to try different....... I am new to fishing at bear

    They have been pretty deep still, around 15 to 22 ft in 30 to 40 ft of water. You should have been able to catch some around the bridge there at Twin Forks. I been fishing minnows with a slip cork, but going 1/2 and 1/2 this weekend with jigs and minnows.
    But I never caught one under 8 ft up there in the last 5 years always 8ft or deeper. Some say they do come to the shallows but I have never seen it, spring or fall :D
