Hey guys long time no see but I have been going back and forth to Denver to help my mother with her house. I saw Zero on Cotaco last and he reported at it was a little slow. I am trying to geared up for this year hopefully I can do better than last year. For my first year I did OK, but far from any one of you guys - now if they were Walleyes that might be a different story. Any reports recently on MALLARD CREEK - ANDERSON CREEK - DECATUR - LIMESTONE CREEK? I would like to get out this weekend. Thanks for your help

Default Did you see me at Cataco!

It must have been someone else, I know little of that section of the river.

It was good to see you on the water Bob.

I made a pilgrimage to Marblehead O to Walleye fish bit. Went with Captain Bob Haynes there. Fished four days and the six of us caught 450# of the Green Monsters.
Our largest was 29 inches. Never did hook up with a Steelhead. Capt called two days later and they had caught two steelheads that day. There are a few fish being caught. Mostly up in the creeks. Soon the water will turn and the fish will head deep. Its anybody's guess at that point. Good to see you stay safe and tight lines.

    Default River

    Bob

It was WW and I on the river the other day.

That was the first time I had ever been on Cataco. Looks very good, but appears to get a lot of pressure.

It would only be single pole and I do very little of that type of fishing.

    Be safe.

    Tight lines and big fish.

Hey Zero thank you for getting back to me I thought I was loosing my mind, at this age that is a scary thing! I have been told that it is really good, a lot of locals fish it and yes a single pole is the thing of the day there. I am with you I like long lining much better, I have caught some nice Bass in there and it is close to the house. Have caught some nice Stripes out in front on the river side also. I went to Anderson Creek yesterday and it was slow and maybe worst than slow, water temp was 65 - 67 at 1:00. Saw I a lot of something stacking up in the deep parts a long cliff both sides but they where not active at all. "FISH ON".
