Thread: Milbrook Area Info Needed

I am going to be there in mid Sept.and was looking for good,safe,reasonable hotel.Bringing my boatand staying 5 days.Any good fishing info. would be helpful,would like to catch some good crappie.

Where are you from capp? It's still pretty darn hot here in Sept and the fishin' may not be what you expect.

I'm from N.C. was wondering if you'll pulled cranks or jigs.or tightlined.

What are you trying to say Roger?... pulling cranks doesn't work too good in shallow weedy water?

I've never fished that area down there, but have driven by it on I65 and there's lots of lilly pads. The land is pretty flat down there so I imagine the water isn't very deep.

Sent you a PM with info on motels, and fishing. Millbrook is the host for the state championship tournment of Crappie Masters in March of each year. In 2011 we will also host the National Tournament in September.
