Where in Tenn. do you live?
I will be driving down to Alabama from Tenn. meeting a couple of my old buddies from South Carolina to do some bream/redear fishing. I have no idea on how to get to Guntersville and don't even know the best place to target for fishing. So, in a nutshell, this is what I am need;
1. Directions to guntersville lake
2. Landing close by a motel/hotel with close proximity for good fishing.
3. Recomendations for breakfast and dinner
Thanks for all the help in advance.

Don't wear any of that ugly orange.
I spent last week fishing and caught enough for a good mess. The beds looked like they had not been on them this year. Each group of beds had 2 to 5 beds that appeared to be fanned and that was it. I hope it gets better. As far as a place to stay, I think South Sauty Campground is as good as it gets. They have four motel rooms with two beds each, shower, and it is clean and perfect for fisherman. You can rent a boat slip with boat lift for $5.00 per night. The rooms are $50.00 per night and the food is great at the store. A great breakfast and lunch but they close at 5:00 PM. As far as coming from Clarksville, I would come down I-65 to Huntsville and come across to Scottsboro then come across BB Comer Bridge and turn south to South Sauty. I dont know the road names but every map has it on it. Hope this helps, Joe
