    Default Weiss - ledges ?

Yes and No.. Had almost 5 inches of rain in past week, lake at full pool, and turbines are turning 24/7 making river too swift and muddy. Hopefully things will calm down in a few days.
Take a Kid fishing, keep only enough to eat, and release the rest to spawn again. Pop

Would like to hear how stump thumpin' on the creek channels in the fall has evolved since I was there to learn it in1993. And why at the time we slayed em', 90% of the boats were spiderin' on the flats catching dinks when we as rookies of the lake were slabbin'? Not being disrespectful , but factual.

Thats because 90% of the boats were not locals! I have been catching crappie on the Chattooga and Coosa River before Lake Weiss was built. On any given day if you check the decals on the boats, there are more crappie boats from out of town than local, and most of the guides and other locals are fishing the deep water structure during the fall and winter. Thanks twhaley , someday soon we may make it to respectfuly fish your waters again. We lived in Trussville for about a year and a half, and had the GOD given pleasure to fish the fine waters of Alabama. Danny Ford settled down here and told me how he missed Al. fishing, I agree. We've got a great state for fishing here in S.C. But there is no match for Al. that I've ever fished.
By the way how many yahoo's are loosing their motor foots on the coosa theese days?
