    Default Oak Mountain State Park

Life is marked by the moments that take our breath away. The leaves changing colors are just breathtaking to me. Especially if there is a lake nearby. My wife and I just went driving on a Sunday afternoon. This is Oak Mountain State Park in Alabama. My truck needs washing though. Here are some phtos I took.

Guntersville and Oak Mountain State Park are some beautiful places indeed. It is peaceful and serene. I wish I had my rod and reel with me when we went for a drive. My wife and I had just come from church and we were still in our church clothes.

Still had fun though. I'd love to own a home on a lake with a view like that. I'd put in a lit dock as well as a boathouse. I'd go in the house to shower, change clothes and eat. After that I'd be back fishing or just sitting outside.

This was the view at Guntersville Lake..
