Jig bodies
Wonder if anybody else has ever noticed this. I fished a tube jig yesterday and caught a mess of small fish. I noticed that as long as the tube was all the way up on the jig I was getting bit but when the tube slid down on the hook I couldnt buy a bite. Lot of small fish caught and I assume they were hitting the tail and pulling it down.

yeah, its all about the action/presentation.

Yep, I have had it happen before too.I got plenty of backup bodies in case they biting, that or put a solid body jig on. Hollow tubes are bad about coming down, especially with smaller weight jigs, but they hard to beat. Somethin else Ive seen is make sure you have a sharp/fullsize keeper on your lead, some batches of jigs will have em' rounded off or some even gone, that definitley wont work for ya. I have seen fish that wont bite a jig and minner unless you shove the jig basically down the minners throat and kill it. If you just hooked the minnow thru eyes or nostrils to keep it alive they wouldnt touch it. Guess somethin looked funny there.
