    Default Coosa River Drop

I went to Brushy Branch on the Ga. side of the Coosa and I was pleasingly surprised as the water has dropped 3 ft. in last three days. Still slightly stained in River but if we dont any big rains in north Ga. in next few days i will be bottombouncing my favorite spots. I tried the Bobby Garland Jig which to me resemble a small tadpole. Caught several small fish and only one keeper. I love the action. Cant wait to try in the river. I carried a friend today that came up from Rhome,Texas and only fished a couple hrs. He has Parkinsons Disease and allmost unable to fish. I enjoyed his company as we use to fish the Coosa 2-3 times a week before he moved to Texas. I hope to go one more time this week if he is able. Anybody going to Coosa or Lake Weiss. How low is Lake Weiss? Love to hear some Fishing Reports. Good Fishing All. Bottombumper

fished cowan creek and around the bend from JR's on Sunday. Lake has dropped 3 foot. Fish displaced.Went back up to Terrys place and we went out.He showed me a dock and we caught some small ones. My son caught a 15 to 16 inch white crappie that was about 1.5 to 1.75 pounds. That was the high point of the day. Was a beautiful day. Hopefully the fish will be on the upper Coosa river ledges anytime. Just have to time it right!!

    Default Weiss

About time to fish the main channels, if they ever slow down the turbines.

Take a Kid fishing, keep only enough to eat, and release the rest to spawn again. Pop
