Thread: Variety pack of fish

Didn't get on the water until 3 and fished until dark. Missed a lot of fish. I didn't use live bait I stuck with curly tail grubs and bass assassin jigs. I noticed more hits on the curly tail, but it was hard to get a hook up. Seems like they were hitting the tail end only and not getting the hook. After the hit the body of the grub would slide down the shaft of the hook. I noticed that several times after missing fish. I caught several nice bream today and 5 crappie, but I didnt' keep anything today. I cleaned fish last night and I've still got some in the freezer.

We need to try and get together sometime and go. I had the same problem the other day. Some fish were hitting hard, but some were just tapping the tail. Some I never felt, I just had to watch my line and set the hook on them.
