    Pink head- Chart, blue/white, pink/white body's

Road Runner heads seem to work good for me as well

I caught that crappie that I had mounted last spring off a Midnight special (laser jigs) I don't throw much of a rainbow of color. I like the blue/yellow, blue/white and red/chart. I should expand my arsenal to include black and pink too. I've always been a fan of hackle, marabou, and guinea feathers. I should try some of those Southern Pro curly tails. The guy I went with the other day loves the panfish assassins and a plastic tube looking grub (minus the tail). I'm a creature of habit and its hard to tie on something your not quite sure about. Thanks guys!

I have found the fish to be different and very different at times in different bodies of water, even when its the same water system just 15 to 20 miles apart. Different colors for different places

It is hard to change to a different jig style and color when you already have one that works. I think the confidence level really makes a diference in alot of us. For instance I prefer the panfish assasin so I have fished it many different ways and caught fish. Well after learning about southern pro hot grubs fishing at lakeWeiss I tried them here. It took a little while but I found that I dont catch as many fish with them but the fish are bigger. Now I am having good luck with the Cajun Critter.

    Default jig colors

We all have our favorites. I like gray head-pink body-with chart. hair tail for shooting docks.

I like the same colors as Kelly for long line trolling.

I like black/pink/chart hair tail for casting under a float.. Like most of you, we all have many more colors in our boats , tackle bags, and garage than we every really use.

I sometimes find baits I forgot I had, until after I buy more of the same .
Take a Kid fishing, keep only enough to eat, and release the rest to spawn again. Pop
