All the let-off from Alatoona and Carters lake is sure screwing up my Spider-Rigging in the Coosa River. My son scheduled his vacation next week a year ago just to fish the River during Prime Crappie Season. In checking my records, the second week of October have been the most productive time for me in the fall. It will probaly be another two wks. if it doesnt rain before the River will be fishable. I will have to check out my old Structure to see if its still there and hunt for other structure that came down the river. In the meantime we will be fishing feeder creeks on the river as a few have cleared up. Im sure we arent the only ones that are disappointed. My biggest so far this fall was 2lb. 4 ozs. and 17 1/2 inches long. This was the first wk. in Sept.I released him and maybe he will make a 3 lber by spring and make somebodys day. Good Fishing All! BB
