Nope.

Tell you a funny story. I play guitar for a living here in the Atlanta area. Got a call to go down to lake Martin and play a party at a lakehouse. Was told that one of the "Albarn" coaches lived there. I did not know any of them so no big deal. I got there a little early and brought my fishing rods hoping I could fish a little before we started playing. A guy was setting up some food on one of the tables and I asked him if he owned the house and if it was OK to fish off of one of his boat docks, that's right there was a dock on either side of the cove that this million+ dollar house was on. He was very nice and told me which one was better fishing. I asked him his name and he said Tommy Tuberville.....I asked him if he was the coach at Auburn that we were told lived there and which coach he was?.....he looked at me and kind of smiled and said that he was the head coach. I thanked him for letting me fish and told him that the last Auburn coach I remembered was Shug Jordan...he just about busted out laughing. Later on I met his wife and she told me that Tuberville got the biggest kick out of the fact that I had no clue who he was.

I am not an Auburn or an Alabama fan. I grew up in Alabama and my Dad was the head of the trucking dept at Avondale Mills. Every Sat when we were kids from about 1955 until I left home in 1969 the companies that my dad did biz with would send us either Auburn or Ala. football tickets and we would go to the games.

I never remember Shug Jordan or Bear Bryant acting anything like this Sabin guy.

I guess I was spoiled by the greatest.

Default never fails to amaze me

people get so fired up over a game. That is what it is, a game. I am in the heart of iron bowl country, and I am a huge gator fan. While I could flaunt that the gators actually win championships, I don't. However, I have to endure this rivally crap as if it really matters.

this is a freaking game. A game whose outcome doens't effect your salaries, your health, or by all means slabs in the boat.

I guess people need something to bitch about. We are a society of arguments. You don't have to watch television long to realize all we do is argue. Even in this place, where we talk about slab catching, there is so much arguing.

I love football as much as the next guy, but even as a gator fan, I loved it when Saban got fired up. All that shows is he is passionate about the game and his players actions. With all the fame, money, and glory athletes get these days, thank GOD there is someone out there who will correct them and knock them off their high horse back down to earth when they screw up. It obviously didn't bother Julio, he scored the winning touchdown a few plays later. His feelign might have been hurt.

By the way, people. Its just football.

Ah it's just the same old people getting worked up over nothing. If you can't take heat get out of the kitchen
It's not like the Alabama board gets all that many hits any way just someone wanting to bitch (about any thing)!
Because I don't think anyone posting on this thread is mad or upset with anyone else posting to this thread.
I know I don't care win, lose or draw I'm a TIDE fan. I also think fishing and football go hand in hand, I know I talk alot about football during the season fishing or not.
