Night Fishing with This Full Moon

Have not paid particular atttention to the effects of a full moon on the fishing on Guntersville. I usually just go when I can. Anyone have some observations as to wether the full moon helps or hinders night fishing trips? How about for day trips, morning bite and eventing bite, what do you think?

Well like you i try go when i can, however i have noticed that full moon and clear skies the bite slows down onc the moon is overhead. However i believe that the morning after the tend to be on. Haven't done years of cataloging but thats how it seems to be when i go. Also when the moon is dark they bite very well.

I haven't noticed the day after effect. My observations have usually been 3-4 days after the full moon, it starts to pick back up.

We went late yesterday afternoon caught 3 nice crappie about 1 hour before dark after that only 1. They should start to pick up water temps were between 63* to 61* we were at short creek.

I Have Noticed Nite Fishing On Guntersville With A Full Moon Is Horrible On Guntersville But A Week Ago I Caught 15 At 79 Causeway All Keepers If There Is A Full Moon I Stay Home
