I am no expert, but I do manage to catch a few. I am without a boat, so all my fishing is from the bank. I jig fish from the rocks at the tailrace below Guntersville Dam. I usually fish the Arab (South) side, but I know a lot of folks catch them on the Huntsville side too. I went down Saturday night. Only caught one keeper crappie. The yellow stripe were on every piece of anything chartreuse that I threw out. It was fun and my daughter caught a number of fish as well.
