Today, 06:01 PM6poundtest replied to a thread Fish in a school swimming near the surface - you ever see this where you fish? in Panfish, Bream, Brim....I've seen it often but usually in early to mid summer, not early season. I've tossed a lot of baits at them with nary a hit or hookup. I just know they're laughing at me for trying when I see them schooled up like that. I know they're not gonna bite but I gotta try anyway. I'd call my fishing holes ponds, not lakes for size reference.6 replies | 105 view(s)

Today, 05:59 PMGlad all of that was found and hope it helps with the case. My mind wonders a lot too with stuff like this. There is a bridge I fish a lot and it’s a known dumping spot. Back when I was young my grandfather’s store was robbed and they found a bunch of the items in the lake thrown off the bridge. I think about that often when fishing there now.1 replies | 12 view(s)

Today, 05:11 PMI used ActiveCaptain to upload 35.10 on my GPSMap 8610xsv and am experiencing flickering on my LiveScope screen that goes from a perfect view to a smudged flickering view then back again. Adjusted multiple settings including gain to no avail. Anyone else experience this? Sent an e-mail to Garmin as there is a 1 plus hour wait on the phone. ...0 replies | 14 view(s)

Today, 05:01 PMGreat weather , partly cloudy low to mid 70’s . The wind 8-18 mph was the only issue we had weather wise . We fished four boat ramps in the four hours we were there . I took the best tools for the job today , a couple XUL’s . Perfect for the small gills we caught . 28 for my fishing buddy , 31 for me . Combos were a 5’6” Daiwa Trout X XUL...0 replies | 12 view(s)

Today, 04:58 PMkeeferfish started a thread Finally Got The Sergeant Out on the Ville for a couple of hours in Missouri FishingWent for right at 3 1/2 hours today and caught a few, nothing spectacular. Stayed North of the W Bridge. Cleaned a half dozen but all nice and all Males. I'd say getting close. See what the rain does? Lost a few right on the bank, they were just taking swipes at the jig. I was told by a guy we were fishing by the bite really picks up abut...2 replies | 18 view(s)

Today, 03:54 PMNice size to them. Think of the dinners we release, you and I. Some folks get downright offended when I show pics and tell em they got a pass. But like you say, ‘tis what it ‘tis and a healthy KABOOM back at cha!4 replies | 127 view(s)

Today, 03:40 PMDo the physical therapy and you should be fine. I tore mine off the right forearm in 2010 and tore the bicep muscle. Surgery in March, recovered fine and went to Afghanistan in Oct. It was one painful surgery though.8 replies | 105 view(s)

Today, 03:33 PMGrainraiser replied to a thread Boater Safety & Bank Fishing Safety is Needed AT ALL TIMES... in Main Crappie Fishing ForumI remember some years ago a well known bank fisherman on Lavon decided to do some exploring. He got lost and had to spend the night in the woods. He was covered in mud from heads to tail when he flagged down some fisherman. He was less than 300 yards from his truck.3 replies | 166 view(s)
