I usually troll the crankbaits on a 20 foot flat next to a river channel. I often troll the area with my graph first looking for the fish and to make sure where any trees may be so I don't get hung up. I will troll with 3 rods on each side. Each rod will have a different size crankbait 100 series, 200 series, 300 series so that each bait is at a different depth to cover more of the water column and so the baits won't get tangled up.
