I use the same method in the summer months here in Ohio... Enjoy it while it last... HIt the lake last evening thinking the conditions were going to be right to pull and and the crappie had moved to laydowns in shallow water.. right up against the bank... Thermocline is at 12 foot and every fish in the lake is in twelve foot or less... looks cool on the sonar though..
