David Clark and I put in at Modoc due to the low water at Dordon and the Hill. We weaved in and out of red clay islands to reach the main channel, then south and back into a large cove. We caught a 2 lb Striper (released), a really chunky LMB of about 3 lbs. (released) and 3 Crappie, biggest being 1 lb. 2 oz. After about 4.5 hours of very slow action we had enough and headed in. Had plenty of bait under the lights and lots of bigger fish but just not much luck. Don't know if it was that 1/2 moon hanging up there or not. Regret to say David outfished me last night.
