CP, type in part number 69905K7 here McMaster-Carr and you will see something that may work for you. The extended force is what's gonna be the problem with only 12v. This one has about 8 lbs. of pulling force "at the first 1/8" of travel". Gonna get weaker with further loaded extension. This chart shows their ability a little better DC Frame Solenoids from Guardian Electric Guardian will customize........might make you what you want if the other doesn't work.

Dunno......may have to put duals on there to get the pull. Or better yet, may have to engineer you a 1/16" wire cable, an extension spring, and a series of pulleys/tubing from your TM release latch to your outboard, and make your trim pump do the work for ya. Might be worth pondering over a cup of Folgers or a bottle of ripple
