I agree, I don't believe for a minute that Saddam destroyed all that stuff -
maybe sent it to Syria or something, but I believe they had it.
No judgement on my part at this stage on whether it was OUR sole
responsibility to deal with him, but I don't think anyone else WOULD
have helped, no matter what. They all wanted to appease him and
keep making money from dealing with him.
As for what Bush said about who was gonna pay for it, I also remember
some of the admin saying "We are not in the business of nation building"
too
