I just got off the boat yesterday to come home and spend a few days with my son. He just got in from Iraq (this is his 3rd tour) and has to go back on the 18th. We sat up late last night and talked. I can tell you this. There is a lot that most of us don't know. They have found a lot of evidence over there that for one reason or another hasn't gotten back to the American public. It frustrates my son that a lot of the truth isn't known. He believes in what we have done and are doing over there and that belief is re-enforce buy what he has seen with own 2 eyes.

After talking with him and without going into much detail I'll just say I don't believe for 1 second they weren't developing WMD and planning to use them.

About an hour ago something happened that I was totally unprepaired for. He was in bed (he's a little jet lagged) and all of a sudden I heard the awfullest camotion I've ever heard! I ran to the bedroom, he was sweat'n and breathing like he'd been in a fight for his life. After he calmed down he told me he was dreaming that they were under attack and he couldn't find his weapon! His fellow soldiers were being cut down and he couldn't help fight back. It spooked my mules a little cause I had never seen him like this! Not a good feeling.

So in closing I'll just say this. The Iraqi gov. had an opportunity to prove to the world that they didn't have the stuff. They refused to allow the world to check and make sure. I feel that they are partly responsible for what happened so they should pony up part of the bill.
