Left Morgan City barely 24 hours after Eduardo made the beach. Two hours later we were 30 miles offshore and had yet to cut the first rip - only a little scattered sargasso in a very small area and some current lines that were too weak to bunch it up. Nothing like I thought the storm would have pushed north, and not a sign of a lemonfish or a tripletail. Stooped to speck-fishing around some of the platforms out there and barely caught enough to get a decent stink out of the grease! Very disappointing - and a cool $100 on gas!
