I have been doing a bunch of research on summer crappie. One recurring point in several of the articles is to find the thermocline on your locator and fish beneath this depth. Most articles claim the thermocline can be found by setting the sensitivity to around 70%. I have tried this but don't see squat.

I don't know much credence to give this as it sounds like slabs can be caught in very shallow water....

Thoughts?
