Believe it or not, our Ingles serves plates for lunch daily. That place employees some of the older black ladies that really know how to fry chicken too. Nobody will tell ya, but if you've ever eaten anything cooked in homemade hog lard then you'll recognize the taste in their chicken.
It's about as good of chicken as you'll find here in Elberton if youre around come lunch time when it fresh cooked. The veggies are great too. Only problem is they dont cook bisquits.....only get rolls from a package.
Oh well.....they fill your plate up so much they cannot hardly close the lid so it's still worth $5 a plate anytime!
