I think I might be able to catch a crappie or 2 at Shelbyville but it is more trouble than it's worth to me. I know a couple of spots they will be, high water or not. As for Lake Mattoon, I live on it and only have to walk a few feet to get into my boat and fish. Whether or not I catch fish, I am not going to say. I think the lake gets too much pressure already, I don't want to attract folks that will be making more boat wakes than I already have to deal with daiiy. I have been on the lake with 45 miles of shoreline and only 2-3 boats on the water and I will be damned if they didn't have to fish right next to my boat. I have said some ugly words to some folks that don't have the brains God gave a goose.
Birdy, maybe you have posted too many pictures and someone is beating you to your spot just leaving you the dinks.
