The US Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Shelbyville is reporting continuing high water conditions at the lake. The pool elevation crested on Sunday, June 15 at 616.05 eet above sea level. Normal summer pool level is 599.70. The discharge rate was 2,100 cubic feet per second (cfs) as of noon on June 18. Lake Shelbyville is expected to reach a pool elevation of 610.00 on or around July 24 and return to its normal summer pool level by mid-September. This is based on a normal precipitation pattern with average inflows.
