I caught one of them on a Torpedo. They other one came from a fairly new cousin of the jitterbug, (same lip design) called the Hocus Locust. I like the Jitterbug better. The Locust doesn't sit as high in the water. I had one of them for dinner last night. I grilled it on a plate of foil, butter, and a little seasoning. Turned out pretty good.

As for those big Blue Gill in this place, I think I am going to have to break out the ancient fly rod. It's bigtime fun to catch a mess of them on a fly rod. Years ago, just east of Broken Arrow, there was an old rock quarry that was just full of the giant Blue Gill. It was great fishing.
