I was very skeptical about these things, but decided to give them a try. My dad and I fished last weekend. He caught 18 fish, a mixed bag of bass, panfish, and catfish. All were on a jig tipped with a maggot. He didn't get a bite when he didn't tip the jig.

I also tried them on a plain hook yesterday. I fished them side by side with crickets. I caught 4 bluegill, a crappie, and a 2 pound largemouth on the maggots. I only caught a few on the crickets.

Today, I just went out and dropped a maggot in the cricket bucket, in no more than 5 seconds, 4 crickets had a hold of the thing and were fighting over it. The maggot was gone in about a minute, no exaggeration. Maybe crickets infused with Gulp Maggots will be a super bait.
