GRIZZ - I hear your frustration and can relate. It's even worse with hunting spots. Every place I hunted when I was younger is posted tight these days.

Around here, pretty much the only shore fishing spots you'll find where you don't have to know somebody, are the DEC access sites - and they're not anything to write home about. Most are around launches and there is no structure to hold fish anywhere in sight.

All the rest of the shore access has pretty much been posted - thanks to people doing all the stuff you mentioned.
