I have fished for hybrids and whitebass much more than crappie, and have
spent many hours hopping a jigg'n spoon on Lake Palestine , Tx.
I think a dressed treble will get you bit faster on some days, other days
it doesn't matter. I can't ever remember a time when I thought the dressed
treble got bit less than a naked one.

Are you targeting crappie with that bait? I have caught crappie on similar
baits while fishing for whites, but have never thought of using one specifically
for crappie.
