Bill, Myself and my squadron VF-74, was aboard Forrestal that day, 134 men were killed, 43 from my squadron alone. On another note, I guess you heard the Navy sank the America in a series of tests and explosions on May 14th of this year. Sad way for a grand ship to end it's life. America was the Navy's newest carrier when I was aboard Forrestal.
