    I use a wonder funnel and filters.....works great. Food Grade - Wonder Funnel

    before any straining and cooling, cook a bunch of raw potatoes, i.e. French fries, quartered potatoes, sliced, etc. Any one or a combination. this cleans a lot of the grease up, and requires less straining....

    Walmart sells a stainless steel coffee filter that works great. Put it in the disk washer to clean it. We have a cajun fryer and filter the oil each time it used and will get twenty or more cooking.

    For people with larger cookers and want to do larger amounts of oil , I have found this useful. Sits on a 5 gallon bucket and strains my 4 gallon cooker with ease
