Soso, Santa Margarita Is my home lake, have fished there since 65, with my dad. I was talking to a friend of mine and he said Margarita is starting to come on strong right now. Bass, trout, crappie, and he saw stiper bowl. I will be heading up that way on my day off, Wed.
As a kid I used to ride my bike to Atascadero Lake and Atascadero Creek and go fishin. But that was only 1 1/2 miles from my house. On time I got up early and rode from Atascadero to Santa Margarita Lake, my dad came and got me after he got off from work.
