Ole Ship

Each time I put another poem on here
Ole Ship puts another that will bring a tear
Hes a hard road to follow with the poems he does write
but im trying to keep up with all my might
I think we could do good to get together one day
and talk about how our crazy minds run far and away
One day we will get together out on the lake
because I would love to meet ole Ship, because hes no fake.

Ode to Father of Four

Once upon a time
Way down in crappie folklore
There was a magnificent poet
who was called a father of four

A magnificent writer
And a storyteller too
His tales about fishin
Bring a smile to me and to you

If our poems were hooks
Those crappies would be in trouble
F-O-4 would be casting to them
And they'd come running on the double

We have had a lot of fun
Writing these fishing poems for you
When casting your line be careful
In everything that you do
