The lake lays silent now, but it wasnt always so. We used to fish for crappie out there, those times where long ago. thinking back, I remember when this lake, with life it thrived. Today I stand upon the shore with Rod-n-Reel in hand , held so high. A tear in my eye, I wish that I could fish for Crappie with you again. But I know that someday we will fish here again for Crappie. And I will be able to say I've missed you so, Dad. May, 2 2009 |
