Hey Slab. You didn't say it had to be about fishing. But, I was honestly inspired to write this while I was by my self in a boat.

I have looked a long time
And haven't found a woman yet.
May be I won't bother
And just buy a Corvette.

I have lived with both.
For a fellow like me,
The pros and cons of each
Are very plain to see.

I am a discriminating shopper.
For either to have a chance,
The front and rear bumpers
On both will get a glance.

With the more miles on their chassis
Performance will fall.
With one you learn to love it.
The other a new motor you can install.

You adjust a woman's attitude
With diamonds and jewels.
The 'Vette is much cheaper.
Just use high octane fuels.

Both can make you proud
To take out at night.
But, with the 'Vette,
The evening won't start or end with a fight.

I know better
Than to want one brand new.
The 'Vette or the woman
Year models 59 to 69 will do.

I have found that women
Enjoy being hard to get,
And have found it would be easier
To just by a Corvette.
