I am 58 years old and partially retired. I love crappie fishing and crappie fishing is my business. I have been a retailer for 23 years and a crappie fisherman for at least twice that long. Last November '97', I started advertising nationwide in Crappie World Magazine and Fishing Tackle Retailer. When I started getting calls and requests, I realized that people in other parts of the country do not fish like we do in the South Eastern States. They don't even know what "trolling for crappie" means. They jig, they tight line, they spider rig, but not troll. Some don't even know what a B & M Crappie Pole is and they have been crappie fishing all their lives. In the weeks to follow, I will try to show my style, my technique and my judgements. Some of you will be bored, some critical, (that's alright, I am married too!) BUT: some will be interested. Those are the ones this is for. I will try to draw this around one fishing trip with my partner at Crappie Busters Guide Service. You will also find that I sell every item I fish with. I use only the best quality equipment.
